Sara, one of these becomes the event. Everything else follows from it: the page, the emails, the taps, the reminders.
People showed up. About 56% of registrants were in the room, up from 33% in August. The calendar button, the room link and the reminders did their job.
"I did all the things and still nothing happened." 3.25% click, the best email you have sent in either month. It has now won twice.
"Not once have I been offered any kind of compensation." 2.24%, and the most-tapped answer.
Your own "starting soon" email. 33% click, after 29% in August. We still do not touch it.
1 · The room did not convert. In August, 22 of 26 people in the room booked a call with you. In September, 3 of about 24 did. Same you, same hour. Different people in the room. The two who did get on a call wanted it, and could not pay for it.
2 · The headline kept bringing the wrong people. "Get your message in front of 348,000 people" promises reach, and reach attracts people who want to be seen. People who want to be seen usually have not been paid yet. You said it yourself in July: "Make Money with Your Book" and all the "Profit…" headlines aren't what they want
. So October does not promise money either.
3 · The question only went to 23 people. In August the one-tap question went to your whole list and 23 people answered. In September it went only to people already registered, and 4 answered. That was our call and it was wrong. October asks the whole list again.
4 · The prize became the templates, not the call. The invite promised "the six email templates that make the ask", and in the room people asked for the templates. In October, the call is the prize.
99.9% of my clients are self or hybrid published, an if hybrid they've already spent $5k-$20k just to publish and hold their book. So we went and read 143 things that Christian authors who had already paid said out loud, in reviews of the publishers and programs they paid, in interviews and in their own essays. Every one of them spent real money on the book.
They did not do one thing for marketing.
I spent almost $12, 000 … and I have 3 boxes of books in my closet.
once my book was published all that professional service quality evaporated.
to feel like I had truly "made it" as an author.Your 20,000-book client is not alone.
I can look that person in the eye and say, "I wrote it for you.") and the book opening doors: clients, coaching, speaking, a book table (about 13).
is something they more reluctantly do.
C1 carries the most evidence: the most-said pain and the most-said dream in one line, and it tells a burned author you are not the thing that burned her. C4 if naming "packages" sits wrong with your offer. Either one works with everything that is already built.
1 · Which headline. Or tell us what is wrong with all five.
2 · Which hybrid publishers do your clients use most? Their new-release pages are the list for reaching out to authors before the event.
3 · The live coaching line. You asked us to take it off. Confirm, and it comes off every page and email.
NOTHING ON THIS PAGE IS INVENTED · every pain is a sentence a paying author wrote or said · every headline stands on one that already worked, with its numbers · September's figures are from your Kit account
